The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Chief Hon David Chinedu, flagged off the construction of 1 kilometre road at Rumu-Ada Ogbakiri, in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State on Friday 13th September, 2024.
During the flag-off, the Chairman charged the people of Ogbakiri to always support the administration of Sir Sim Fubara because more dividend of democracy will come to them in no distance time. The Chairman also said that the contractor has been mobilised to the fullest, and he expects the completion of the project within the shortest time, not minding the rain, because payment for the project was also made during the rainy season.
The Chairman, and other prominent leaders of the LGA, defied the heavy downpour and also visited the completed Ubimini road project, the ongoing Egbeda Police Station, and Elele Alimini Health Centre, where he advised the people of Emolga to continue to be peaceful to allow development strife and always support Sir Sim Fubara to succeed.

Speaking during the flag-off of the road project at Rumu-Ada, Surv Sam Agwor thanked the Chairman for choosing Ogbakiri as one of the places his developmental train has hit, and promised that they will collectively make sure that the contractor does not have any impediment as the project is ongoing.
Surv. Agwor reassured that with what is happening, the entire Ogbakiri is Simplified already and further promised that the very few who are on the other side will join them soon.
Also, speaking during the visit to the completed Ubimini road project, Engr Chika Uchendu thanked the Chairman for being project oriented, which has made him achieve many goals within his three months in office.
Engr Uchendu further thanked the people of Ubimini for their cooperation while the project was ongoing and assured them that Sir Sim Fubara would do more for them.
The leader of Simplified Movement in Ubimini, who also doubles as the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, during his response, thanked the Chairman for completing the road, which was abandoned by the last administration. He said that the people of Ubimini will always be grateful to God for using Sir Sim Fubara and Chief David Omereji to make them smile like other communities as they will continue to support them at all cost.
While the leadership train of the LGA hit the Egbeda Community, Hon Dr Emmanuel Omah and Dr. Emmanuel C. Uzobor, AKA Emperor, who spoke separately on behalf of the community, thanked the Chairman for remembering his own people as charity, they say, begins at home. They said it is obvious that since the emergence of Chief David Omereji as the leader of Egbeda people, they have been following him and will continue to follow him without complaining. They also thanked Sir Sim Fubara for appointing their own as the Chairman of Emolga.
Other dignitaries who accompanied the Chairman were Chief Chinedu Tasie, Chief Hon Ndidi Erim, Hon Sunny Ewule, Hon Collins Amesi, Hon Ted Oteh, Hon Nchelem Ordu, among others.
